Paying for Your Hobby
What if I could show you a way that you could buy any piece of woodworking equipment you wanted as many different pieces as you wanted without a nickel coming out of the family budget? If you can’t just go pay cash now you might want to listen to the rest of this presentation.
Most of us know folks that key use some extra money. Sometimes even for the essentials such as food or medicine. We also know parents with young children struggling just to make ends meet let alone provide for those extras that growing kids always seem to need. Consider the case of a single–parent, their hands are full raising their family and holding down a full–time day job. What kind of difference do you think $700–$1000 a month might make to a family like that?
The things were going to talk about this morning have more to do with extra money than with making a full–time income. Because it is extremely easy to make extra money. It is possible to make a full–time income for some folks but it is much easier for everybody to make extra money.
Let’s do some math. Most months have 30 days so that is our base.
$5 per day = $150 per month = $1800 per year
$10 per day = $300 per month = $3600 per year
$15 per day = $450 per month = $5400 per year
$20 per day = $600 per month = $7200 per year
$25 per day = $750 per month = $9000 per year
$50 per day = $1500 per month = $18,000 per year
$100 per day = $3000 per month equals $36,000 per year
So the first question is “How much extra money would you like to make per month?”, Or “How much does your first piece of equipment cost?”
In the second question “Is how you going to do it?”, Or, “What is your time frame?”
Let’s make a plan.
