Dedication

This work is dedicated to my family. First, to Sweet Janice, bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh without whom life would have very little meaning. She makes me laugh and I feel safe in her arms. Her judgement is often superior to my own. To say she is the love of my life is so inadequate that I’m lost for words. Also to my son Christopher who’s tenacity and insight is largely responsible for the publishing of this compilation. Just when you think your kids are not paying attention, they surprise you with detailed encouragement and humbling insight. To Steed, for his hard work and faithfulness to his duties as a husband, father and son who always makes us so proud. To Lorie, for her wit, charm, intellect and dedication to family and to the American way of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. She would make any Dad proud. And lastly to all of you who have uttered words of encouragement along the way and shared stories of how my simple messages inspired you to be better.
