2nd Best Gift Ever!
Happy day after Christmas 2017. As I look forward to the start of another Woodworking Show season in early January 2018, I can’t help but think about yesterday and the 2nd best gift ever. For Christians celebrating the birth of Jesus the Christ, the best gift ever has to be eternal life. I don’t think there can be any argument there.
The 2nd best gift ever for me has to be the gathering of my family; all three adult children and their spouses plus every one of the grandchildren and even the eldest granddaughter’s husband. This was all I wanted for Christmas and I got it! I don’t think there is a better gift anyone could get than the love of one’s family. Yes, there were gifts exchanged, but I barely remember them. It is being surrounded by the one’s you love which is the best gift of all.
We are looking forward to seeing so many of you again very soon as we visit your city. Your smiling face is the reason we do it. This past year was very interesting as I broke my leg clean in two then healed up better than new; now I’m steel reinforced! Sitting on the living room couch for three months unable to put any weight at all on my left leg was a challenge I’m not used to. They say when you are going through Hell, keep going and we did. During these times, the importance of family support can’t be underestimated and mine was certainly first class.
The creative juices were flowing in 2017 and as you have seen from various posts throughout last year, I designed and introduced several exclusive new products. I should have most of them with me for your first-hand inspection when we come to visit you. In many cases the demand already exceeds our manufacturing capacity so we ask for your patience. Rather than make second quality goods, you might just have to wait a bit longer for us to catch up.
Sweet Janice and the rest of our family hope 2018 is a fantastic year for you and yours. We wish you health, prosperity and happiness in the New Year because wherever you go there you are.
