I found myself with 10 minutes to spare and pulled up YouTube. I stumbled across a fantistic channel you should know about. https://www.youtube.com/user/thang010146.
Two of these very short videos are particularly interesting for us woodturners. They are only 20-30 seconds each so you might want to watch them more than once.
If you ever wondered how a self ejecting stailstock works, this is the best explanation I've see so far. Although the illustration for the scroll chuck uses a 3 jaw chuck, it is still self centering and how it works is very clear. Hope you enjoy!
